F.A.Q.

Which rooms/apartments have access to the shared terrace?

All the rooms in our guest house have access to the common terrace: Camera Lillina 1, Camera Lillina 2, Camera Maddalena, Camera Adriana, Camera Elena. In addition, it has access to the common terrace A Casa di Elena 12 and Tiny house with Private Patio and shared Seaview Terrace.

They do not have access to the large shared terrace Minicasa con Patio e Terrazzino and Cogliente e Tipica Casetta a Picco sul Mare, as they are completely independent solutions.

Where can I park the car?

Our guest house is in the heart of the historic center of Polignano a Mare, the entire area is entirely pedestrian, therefore it is not possible to enter by car and park in the immediate vicinity (not even to unload luggage). For this reason, you should park your car outside the historic centre, paying attention to the lines that delimit the parking area:

- 🔵 blue lines - for a fee with an hourly cost of €1.5, to be paid from 8 to 13 and from 16 to 22/2 in the night depending on where you find parking

- 🟡 yellow lines - reserved for residents with passes only

-⚪ white lines - free but 20 minutes from the center and in a not very safe area Beyond the colors of the parking lots, finding a parking space here is no mean feat. For this reason we advise our guests to book a parking space at a cost of €20 per day.

The distance of the reserved parking space varies from 5 to 7 minutes on foot (depending on what we find still available) and obviously if you decide to book, you will have your own keys so you can take the car at any time :)

Are your solutions suitable for children?

We do not recommend our solutions to families with children under the age of 14.

All our solutions have stairs and there is not always a railing, if they are of an age where they like to explore and browse, the presence of stairs could become dangerous and would force parents to keep up with the little ones and this would not make them stand out. rest assured our guest.

In addition, all our solutions are in the center and this, although it is a great strength because you don't need a car to get around, we are in the busiest and most lively streets of the historic center and although our windows are equipped with double glazing to make them as soundproof as possible, there may be some noise that would disturb your little one's rest.

Last but not least, since our residences are old fishermen's houses, there is no possibility of adding a camping cot in the room and our beds have a size of 140x190 (they are very comfortable French beds, 20cm smaller than the ones we are in used to), sleeping 3 in the big bed would not be exactly comfortable.

But obviously we leave the last word to the parents, no one knows better the needs and requirements of their children.

It is important to us to have honest communication with one of our future guests and to give him all the information possible so that he can decide independently whether ours are the right solutions for his family or not

Am I undecided about booking a room or a holiday home? What are the differences?

The holiday homes have independent access, as well as booking a room with a French bed (140x190), TV, air conditioning and bathroom, you would also book a solution with a living room and a kitchenette. Perfect if you have allergies and/or intolerances and need to use the kitchen. If apparently the cost of a holiday home seems higher than that of a room, on a stay of several nights, the savings are noticeable: having use of the kitchen, you have the opportunity to buy typical local products and cook at home, thus saving on the cost of restaurants. Personally I think it's the best solution for those looking for their independence and/or staying for a longer stay.

While booking a room is perfect for those who want to stay for a few days and are just looking for a place to sleep. Although our rooms are located within a structure with several internal and external common areas. Guests cannot use the kitchen but can buy takeaway food and enjoy it on one of the most beautiful terraces in Polignano a Mare enjoying a splendid sea view. By choosing to stay in a room you open up - if you wish - to the opportunity to make friends with other guests who come from different parts of the world. In addition, you will meet your host every morning who will accompany you in the construction of your stay to the point that if you have booked for only 2 nights, you will want to stay with us again.

If you're still undecided about which solution is right for you, book a free call or video call with one of our staff at this link.

If I'm not your guest, can I have breakfast at your facility, organize a dinner for my partner or an event?

No, access to our terraces is reserved exclusively for our guests. Today we want them to have priority over everyone and that shared spaces are reserved only for them. For a breakfast overlooking the sea or a romantic dinner, you will have to stay at least 2 nights (minimum stay) with us.

Do you accept pets?

We love pets, we also own them but each animal has a different upbringing which is why in the last year we have reluctantly chosen not to accept any more animals. But there are rules to be respected for all our guests, including 4-legged ones and not all owners share our rules and are able to make their puppies respect them. So then we find the house upside down or smelly and it's not easy to wash everything in the shortest possible time so that subsequent guests find the house immaculate.

How does check-in work?

Before your arrival you will receive an email from us where we will ask you for some information to make your arrival at the hotel easier and your stay pleasant. We will ask you by which means you will arrive and we will advise you on how to reach us; we will need your telephone number to send you the instructions for reaching our facilities and the self-checkin video; we will ask you to send us a SCAN of your documents (not a photograph) in order to be able to report your presence to the competent authorities in time; lastly we will ask you for your data: name, surname, tax code*; residential address: country, province*, locality, address, zip code* for the invoice. *for Italian citizens

Is it possible to check-in before 4pm or checkout after 10am?

No, checkout is to be carried out no later than 10, so that between 10 and 16, we have the right time to clean everything thoroughly and make the environment welcoming for you and possibly do a minimum of maintenance in case of damage. however, it is possible to leave your luggage in our deposit both for those who want to leave more calmly and for those who arrive earlier.

Is it possible to have a room with two single beds?

No, all our solutions have French size mattresses and bed bases (140 x 190), which is why it is not possible to accommodate you in a room with two single beds. In case you stay in a solution with a sofa bed, we need you to ask us at least 24 hours before your arrival that you need us to prepare the sofa bed, otherwise we will not be able to satisfy your request.
